Diving Courses

We want to offer you the best possible Open Water Diver course, and logically we want to do it in the best possible place!
If you want to come on vacation to Barcelona, ​​reserve 3 days (2 nights) to take the Open Water Diver course with us. Don't worry, we provide you with accommodation in one of our apartments on the Costa Brava, a place where residents of Barcelona go diving.
And to make it even more comfortable, we pick you up in Barcelona and take you to the Costa Brava, at the end of the Open Water Diver course, we return to Barcelona. Easier, impossible!

But plan your course well! Before doing the practical part of the course, you must complete the theoretical part online, which will take you 2 days (2 hours a day)

Open   Water Diver course

If you have always wanted to take diving lessons, experience an unparalleled adventure and see the world under the waves, this is where everything begins. If you do not have certification as a diver, this is the first level, where you should start. The course is called Open Water Diver. Millions of people have learned to dive and then discovered the wonders of the aquatic world through this course.

The course lasts 3 days, where you will make a total of 6 dives (5 shore dive's and 1 boat trip)

At the end of the course, you will have an international qualification with which you can dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

This is how we have structured our Open Water Diver course:

Day 1:

We pick you up in Barcelona at 07h/07:30h.You will arrive at the Costa Brava at approximately 08:30 a.m. We will facilitate you in an apartment and you can leave your things there. At 09h we start the Open Water Diver course.

We will review basic concepts of the theoretical part that you have done the days before this part of the course, we will explain the exercises that we are going to do in this first dive, we will teach you how to assemble the diving equipment and we will go to the beach. Start your adventure!

This morning we are going to do 2 shore dives. Remember to get a good night's rest!

Free afternoon, you can visit the beautiful town and go to the supermarket to buy food for these days.

Day 2:

We start at 08:30 a.m. Have a good breakfast, a great morning awaits you. We start with a briefing of everything that awaits us, we assemble diving equipment and go to the beach. Two more shore dives. At 2:30 p.m. we finished.

You can eat and rest.

In the afternoon, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., we will take the final written exam and review it. We use this time to review concepts.

Day 3: 

We start at 08:30 a.m. and you have the same plan as the day before, but the second dive of the day is a boat trip and not a shore trip. And we are done! You are certified!!!

You will have a prepared sandwich and a drink and we will return to Barcelona at 3:30 p.m. We will arrive in the city at approximately 5:00 p.m. You just have to tell us where your accommodation is in Barcelona and we'll take you there.

Our accommodation, apartments: 

This will be your accommodation, some nice apartments above the same diving center that we will use as a base to prepare the diving equipment.

They are fully equipped apartments, with their own kitchen, air conditioning/heat, their own bathroom in each apartment, television, Wi-Fi, ...

We have apartments for 1 or 2 people or apartments for 3 or 4 people.

Why the Costa Brava?

Without a doubt, it is the best diving place on our coast. The diving in the city of Barcelona is not good and lacks much life... the bottom is very fine sand or mud and there is usually not good visibility.

By comparison, diving on the Costa Brava is spectacular. There is a lot of marine life and the visibility is usually very good! It is the perfect place to dive and only 1 hour from Barcelona.

PRICES:

- 1 person: Open Water Diver course + accommodation (3 days/2 nights) + pick up Barcelona/Costa Brava/Barcelona: 550€

- 2 persons: Open Water Diver course + accommodation (3 days/2 nights) + pick up Barcelona/Costa Brava/Barcelona: 490€/person

- 4 persons: Open Water Diver course + accommodation (3 days/2 nights) + pick up Barcelona/Costa Brava/Barcelona: 440€/person

BOOKING:

To make the reservation you must make a payment by bank transfer of €100. The rest of the payment is made upon arrival at the Costa Brava. If you are interested, contact us and we will provide you with the information to make the reservation. And we will provide you with the student manual.
